Now that spring has arrived in California, RVers are getting ready for their springtime adventures. But if your RV has been in storage for a few months, you’ll likely need to take some time to prepare it for the season. Here are our suggestions.

Wash & Clean

Your RV might have been sitting in the garage for a while and it’s likely dusty inside and out. Giving the exterior a quick wash will make it easier to maintain. On the inside, wiping down the surfaces with a cleaner and paper towels or bleach wipes, as well as sweeping all the rooms, will ensure that it’s sparkling clean for your trip. You can also leave doors and windows open on a nice day to really air your RV out.

Stock Linens & Kitchen Goods

Now you need to bring all of your clean linens back on board and make up the beds, put towels in the bathroom, and toss your throw blanket over the couch. In the kitchen, you’ll want to stock up on your dry goods and make sure your spices and condiments are still good. Now is a good time to check your cleaning supplies in the RV as well and replenish any that you’re out of.
